CAS & CAS2 Tests
Cognitive Assessment System Second Edition
The Cognitive Assessment System, Second Edition (CAS2) was developed to evaluate the cognitive processes of children aged 5 to 18 and is the revised version of the CAS, updated to meet current needs.
CAS2 is an important tool used by qualified professionals for assessing children’s cognitive skills. It plays a key role in designing individualized education programs according to the child’s specific needs, identifying and guiding children who demonstrate exceptional performance in cognitive domains, and in the early detection and prevention of potential academic difficulties.
The CAS measure four cognitive processing areas: Planning, Attention, Simultaneous, and Successive processing.
Both the CAS and CAS2 contribute significantly to the identification of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disability, Giftedness, and difficulties in planning skills.
