Online therapy

Online therapy

Online therapy is conducted through video calls over the internet in situations where face-to-face meetings are not possible or are restricted. It is generally recommended that the first session be held face-to-face with the specialist in order to determine suitability for online therapy. In online therapy, the same rules that apply to face-to-face sessions are fundamental.

Therapists conduct the sessions from their offices at the center. It is important that the place where the client will hold the meeting is a location where they will not be disturbed. After an appointment is scheduled for a specific day and time, on the day of the session, the client and the therapist connect and communicate via the application to be used for the meeting (such as Skype, Zoom, etc.).

Online therapy can be beneficial for individuals living abroad who wish to receive therapy in their own language, those who cannot access therapy in their place of residence, those who cannot find time due to fast and intense living conditions, those who have difficulty leaving the house, and in situations where face-to-face meetings with the therapist are not appropriate.
